The grand finale of the 2025 C-Unit Football Tournament lived up to expectations as Washington Memorial Grammar School Onitsha outshined St. Charles College Onitsha, with a dominant five-one victory to clinch the championship title and one-million-naira grand prize.
In their separate interviews, the host, Messers Onyedikachi and Onyebuchi Ike, also known as C-Unit, said that they were impressed with the tournament from the group stages to the final and congratulated every player, coaches, officials, game masters, school authorities and host communities for their active roles in making the tournament a success.
The Principal of Washington Memorial Grammar School Onitsha, Mrs. Nkechi Nkem and the Game Mistress of St. Charles College Onitsha, Mrs. Chinelo Nwajiaku, praised the performances of both teams and thanked the organizers for providing maximum security throughout the tournament.
