The Rich cultural heritage of Ndigbo came to bare during the traditional funeral ceremony of a member of Igwe Ogidi Cabinet, late Chief Echedo Christopher-Osegbo who died at the age of seventy -three, and was laid to rest in his country home Odida Ogidi in Idemili North Local government Area.
Correspondent Emengini Osadebe reports that speaking at the condolence, the Traditional Ruler of Ogidi, Igwe Alex Onyido who was flunked by members of his cabinet consoled the deceased’s family, his cabinet members and Ogidi people in general for the great loss, advising the children to take solace in the Lord, and prayed God to Grant his soul eternal rest.

Speaking to the ABS, the children of the deceased, Mrs Uchenna Ogumike, Messers Collins and Steven Osegbo and his son in-law Mr John Ogumike described their late father as a man of peace, love, and unity as well as their confidant who they will surely miss and prayed God to rest his soul.

One of his sisters, Mrs Agnes Ncheckwube, his cousins Professor Clement Okudo, Messers Onyedikachi Obiora, Paul Egbue and Ifeanyi Odukwe said the deceased was protective of them while they were living together in Lagos State and promised to maintain the cordial relationship with the family he left behind.
