Governor Chukwuma Soludo has commended the Independent Electoral Commission for conducting credible by-elections in Anambra South Senatorial District and Onitsha North Constituency One.
Governor Soludo made the commendation when he recieved the winner of the Anambra South Senatorial by-election, Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu whose result sheets were presented to him.
According to the Governor, inspite of a few schemishes in few places during the polls, the election was seamless as APGA won seventy five percent of the total votes cast and commended the people for coming out to exercise their franchise.

Presenting the result sheets earlier, the National Chairman of APGA, Barrister Silvester Ezeokenwa described the Governor as a jinx breaker, for helping to midwife a Senator of APGA extraction, just as Chief Nwachukwu thanked God, the Governor and the people for their support, assuring that he will stand on the mandate to deliver democracy dividends to the people.
