Soludo Inaugurates Modern Solution Market, Bus Terminal In Ekwulọbịa

As part of his broad urban regeneration efforts, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has commissioned the modern Solution market and bus terminal in Ekwulọbịa.

The facility which features large open space for those who will shop, solar power, canteen, water supply, among others, will house traders and commuters currently doing business around the newly constructed Ekwulọbịa flyover, who will be displaced.

According to the Governor, providing the alternative as well as all his administration’s policies, are part of the APGA mantra of “leave no one behind”, concentrated on the poor and forgotten segments of the society, to give the people minimum pleasure.

While stating that the property belongs to the state government in partnership with the local government for effective and efficient management, he explained that those that will occupy the facilities have been provided and that they will get the shops free of cost.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Barrister Patricia Igwebuike described the bus terminal as a legacy project, that will solve the congestion issue, just as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Markets, Chief Evarist Ubah pointed out that Ekwulọbịa is now fully urbanized with the presence of the facility.

Earlier, Mayor of Aguata, Dr. Chibueze Offorbike, President General of Ekwulọbịa Town Union Mr Azubuike and Chief Joseph Ezeokafor, thanked the Governor for the initiative which has transformed the place that used to be a bush.
