In a grand display of unity and gratitude, the International Convention Center Awka was filled to capacity yesterday as Governor Chukwuma Soludo led the state in an interdenominational thanksgiving service.
The event, themed “Leading with Wisdom and Integrity,” marked the conclusion of the Governor’s first four-year term in office and served as a spiritual precursor to his second-term inauguration scheduled for tomorrow March seventeen, 2026.

The service brought together a diverse assembly of religious leaders from the Christian Association of Nigeria, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Catholic and Anglican communions, and the atmosphere was one of solemn reflection and vibrant celebration, while various choir groups offered songs of praise for the “Solution” administration’s journey so far.

In his address, Governor Soludo, accompanied by his wife, Nonye expressed deep gratitude to the people of Anambra for their resilience and support, and acknowledged the hand of God that has guided them through every challenge.

The sermon, delivered by a panel of prominent clerics, including the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Francis Wale Oke and the Bishop of Awka Anglican Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim, highlighted the Governor’s focus on human capital development and infrastructure, reminding him of the place of integrity in leadership even when it is difficult.
