Governor Chukwuma Soludo and the leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance have joined family, friends and well-wishers to bid farewell to the late father of the National Chairman of the party, Barrister Sylvester Ezeokenwa, Chief Joseph Ezeokenwa.

The family was joined in a funeral mass at Holy Name Parish, Umuchu in honour of their patriarch where Governor Soludo who is the National Leader of APGA expressed deep sorrow over the loss, emphasizing the importance of community support during challenging times and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to stand together at all times.


Earlier in a homily, the Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Reverend Jonas-Benson Okoye described heaven as a sweet home, stressing that a true Christian never dies but transits to heaven.
In his speech, son of the deceased, Barrister Ezeokenwa appreciated the Governor and everyone for identifying with them in their moment of grief.
