Anambra State Association of Town Unions, ASATU Youth Wing, has condemned the recent incident of assault on a female corps member serving in the state by members Operation Udo Ga-achi, describing it as inhumane.
Speaking at a solidarity rally in support of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, the ASATU Youths, through its President General, Mr. Ken Okoli, requested that members of the security outfit who go against their rules of engagement should be fished out and prosecuted, and called on the public to keep vigilance on the activities of members of the Operation Udo Ga-achi, which he noted is made up of different security agencies, including Agunechemba.


He alleged that to make Anambra unsafe and then use insecurity for campaign, some politicians are protesting against and calling for the disbandment of Agunechemba because of few errant officers, and urged those involved to concentrate on telling Ndi Anambra what they can offer.

Receiving the youths at the new Government House, Awka, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, who condemned human rights violations by the security operatives, expressed concern that some politicians would want to politick with the unfortunate incident.
