Positive reactions have continued to trail the renaming of Club Road back to Abakaliki Street by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
Correspondent Ngozi Obileri who felt the pulse of residents of the area, reports that they were in high spirits as a result of the development.
Reacting to the renaming, some business owners in the area, Mr Ndubisi Ezeh popularly called Nwoke Udi, and Mr Jude Uzoma appreciated Governor Soludo for returning the name of the street, noting that renaming it Club Road was not a good decision because many businesses especially joints have been existing even before clubs started springing up.

In their separate reactions, an Izii man who is the first person to live in Abakaliki street, who also named the street, Mr Peter Uzodimma and the Traditional Ruler, Anambra State Association of Non Indigenes, Igwe Amos Nkwuda prayed God to bless Governor Soludo for wiping out shame from their faces by renaming the street after them, reassuring that every Ebonyian in Anambra will vote for him to ensure that he returns to complete the job he has started.
