The remains of late Pa Anthony Chukwuedozie have been laid to rest at his home town, Ezeloma kindred, Umudaraigwe village Mbosi, in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
In a homily during a requiem Mass in his honour at St Patrick’s Catholic church, Mbosi, a Catholic priest from Enugu Diocese, Reverend father Stanley Nwaneho, urged all men to live upright as death is inevitable, adding that testimonies about the deceased was that he served God and humanity.

In a condolence message, the member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency, Honourable Paschal Agbodike, said that the late Pa Chukwuedozie was a community man, who put in time and resources towards the good of Mbosi community, adding that his son, Mr Tochukwu has followed his father’s footsteps by contributing financially to the development of the community.

Speaking to the ABS after the interment, the deceased children, Mr Anthony and Tochukwu Chukwuedozie and his first daughter, Mrs Ijeoma Nsoanya said that as a soldier, farmer and a teacher, their father served with courage, loyalty and unwavering discipline which he bequeathed to his seven children, praying God to grant his soul eternal repose.
