Over one thousand three hundred and seventy five beneficiaries of the second phase of the Anambra State Government’s 1Youth2Skills Plus initiative in Awka South Local Government Area have received cheques for their startup grants disbursed under the programme.
The disbursement of the cheques was coordinated by the Special Assistant to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Development, Mr. Emeka Omata.

The 1Youth2Skills Plus Solution Initiative focuses on building capacities in agriculture, ICT, fashion, crafts, catering, and other vocational sectors to promote self-reliance and innovation among young people.
Among the beneficiaries were Chimaoge Enekwechi from Nise, Antonia Onyemobi from Imo State, and Chisom Onyekwuba, who have utilized the programme to establish businesses and create employment opportunities for others as they appreciated Governor Soludo for the life changing opportunity.
