Orumba South local government area, comprising of eighteen Wards are rooting for the candidacies of Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu and Professor Chukwuma Soludo in the upcoming bye and governorship elections in the State.
The campaign train including the Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim was received at Umunze where APGA was jointly endorsed as the party to vote in the region.
Governor Soludo expressed strong support for Chief Nwachukwu who is the APGA candidate in the forthcoming Anambra South Bye-election, saying that the party is better positioned for the election.
The Member representing Orumba South in the State House of Assembly, Mr. Emma Nwafor, Member representing Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, Princess Chinwe Nnabuife, Chief Ben Nwankwo, Engineer and Emeka Sibudu, expressed optimism that APGA will produce first senator for the first time in the area.
