The 2019 Batch B, Stream two, National Youth Service Corp (NYSC)Orientation Course has been scheduled to hold between Tuesday, twentieth August to Monday, ninth September, 2019 in all the states of the federation including the federal capital territory while the formal opening and swearing in ceremony will hold on Thursday , twenty second August , 2019.
According to a Press release signed by Anambra state coordinator, NYSC, Aremu Kehinde, the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano is expected to preside over the swearing-in Anambra while the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Ijem Onwuamaegbu has been invited to administer the oath of Allegiance on the prospective corps members at the Temporary Orientation camp Umunya by ten o’ clock in the morning . The release enjoined all Corps Employers to send in their request for corps members on or before August, twenty third, 2019, indicating also the discipline, gender and peculiar competences required of the corps members.
It further noted that Governor Obiano has expressed a strong desire for even spread of corps members in the twenty –one Local Government Areas of the state and the NYSC, as a major partner in the actualization of the Agenda of Obiano administration, solicited the support and understanding of all Corps Employers to enable the NYSC serve Ndi Anambra better.
