Okpa Fiesta 3.0 was a vibrant celebration of culture and creativity, offering a platform for social connection and talent displays, as well as bringing together like-minded individuals to showcase the beauty of Igbo heritage while promoting its traditions.

Held at ABS headquarters in Awka, the event featured a wide array of games and activities, including storytelling, Jenga, Drought, Scrabble, Chess, Ncho, Ludo, Cards, Pictionary, Pap making, Darts, and Football, all aimed at highlighting the historical and cultural significance of Okpa in Igbo culture.

In her remarks, the Convener, Miss Lucia Enahoro, explained that Okpa, an iconic Igbo dish made from bambara nut flour, has been part of Igbo culture for generations, and emphasized that Okpa Fiesta, Vibes and Raves 3.0 was not just a food festival, but a celebration of Igbo culture, blending traditional and contemporary expressions of music, art, and entrepreneurship.

She expressed gratitude to God for the success of the event, thanking the sponsors, partners, vendors, performers, and Mr. Chris Molokwu, the Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, for their unwavering support, even as she encouraged Ndi Anambra to carry the spirit of the celebration beyond the event by uplifting their culture, supporting local talent, and inspiring future generations to reconnect with their roots.
