The national Secretariat, Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employees, NULGE has condemned the attitude of some people parading themselves as executive members of the union in Anambra thereby impersonating officers elected in an election conducted by the national body of the union in December 2023.
Speaking, during a media briefing at NULGE House in Awka, the National Trustee of the union, Comrade Victor Mmuo said that the decision was part of the communique at the National Executive Council and was part iof a five points communique issued at the end of its NEC meeting, where the NEC in session expressed displeasure over anti union activities alleged to have backing of some government officials.
The Acting President of NULGE Anambra State chapter, Comrade Eucharist Uyawune appealed to Governor Chukwuma Soludo to come to their aid and put an end to the rivalry rocking the union especially when the rivals were not elected by anyone in any election, and expressed the hope that the Governor will call those involved to order.
