Nsugbe Elite Club Organizes Free Medical Outreach For All Community Age Groups

As a way to promote better healthcare for its people, the Nsugbe Elite Club has embarked on a free medical outreach for all age groups in Nsugbe community, Anambra East Local Government Area.

The medical mission which has become an annual exercise for Nsugbe Elite Club since the past seventeen years is aimed at addressing the immediate health needs of the beneficiaries at no cost.

Speaking to the ABS during the exercise, the Team leader of the medical team, Dr Emeka Ezeazu who is also a member of the club said the life saving programme has been an avenue through which  they touch the lives of Ndi Nsugbe, while another member of the club, Sir Ben Okoye highlighted other projects the group has embarked on to include road rehabilitation, awarding of scholarships, provision of portable water and other development projects, and commended members for their dedication and passion for humanitarian work.  

Some of the beneficiaries of the programme,  including Chief John Nweke, Mrs Theresa Oguejiofor and Egodi Chilozie said they normally rely on annual medical mission to access quality drugs for their different ailments and thanked the group for the gesture, praying God to bless the members of the club beyond measures.
