NPF Unveils 59 Armoured Toyota Hilux Vehicles For Special Operations in Abuja

At a time when Nigerians demand more than promises and assurances from their security institutions, the Nigeria Police Force has unveiled a fresh boost to its operational capacity with the deployment of 59 armoured Toyota Hilux vehicles for special operations in Abuja.

The Inspector-General of Police who commissioned the 59 armoured Toyota Hilux vehicles in Abuja, said the Force will no longer trade in promises but deliver results Nigerians can feel.

He described the vehicles as purpose-built for high-risk missions, equipped with armour and mobility to outpace criminals.

The Police Chief added that the deployment is part of ongoing reforms to boost intelligence, training and response times, with more vehicles expected in the coming days.

He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for supporting the acquisition, pledging that the Force will justify the investment with safer communities and restored public trust.
