NDLEA Seeks Stronger Partnership With Communities In Fight Against Drug Abuse, Trafficking 

The Anambra State Commander of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Mr. Charles Onubogu has called for improved partnership between the NDLEA and communities in the state in the fight against drug abuse and trafficking for a safer society.

Oluchi Ilechukwu reports that the Anambra NDLEA Boss, Mr Onubogu made the call through his Deputy, Dr. Chukwunyere Nwannennaya during an ABS audience participatory program, “NDLEA AND YOU”.

Mr. Onubogu who lamented on the rate at which drug abuse is destroying the destinies and lives of young people in today’s society, wondered why some communities are still protecting drug dealers in their areas, and seeing NDLEA as enemy instead of partners. UP SOT 

On his part, the Superintendent of Narcotics, attached to NDLEA operational Base in 3, 3 Onitsha, Prince Chuks Njemanze advised parents to warn their children to stay away from hard drugs as according to him, hard drugs render people useless and as well kills.
