Kudos, Knocks Trail Ministerial List

Citizens of the Anambra  state have been reacting to  the ministerial list released yesterday by President Muhammadu Buhari. 


Correspondent Valentine Mbadugha, felt the pulse of the people and  reports that  that the president was sworn in for the second term in office on May 29th 2019 and since then, Nigerians have been expecting the President to hit the ground running with regards to appointment of the new cabinet that will aid his administration. 


The President on Tuesday the 23rd day of July, after fifty-two days in office, submitted forty-three list of ministerial nominees selected from every state of the federation for confirmation  by  the National Assembly. 


In an interview, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Events, Sir Anthony Ugorji who commended the federal government for observing the principles of federal character that ensured that  every state was represented, noting that more youths with creative minds would have been given opportunity to serve in that capacity which according to him would be more productive.  
On his part, a public affairs Analyst,  Mr. Chidiebere Onwudiwe who noted that the current state of the country needs more technocrats noted that only few among the shortlisted have proven to be capable in handling sensitive positions. 
He however advised that the federal government should try as much possible  to allocate offices according to capabilities of nominees  to help reposition the country and move its affairs forward. 
The list has two Anambra indigenes, Senator Dr Chris Ngige who has been with the present administration as the Minister of  Labour and Productivity and Barrister Sharon Ikeazor.
