The Independent National Electoral Commission is receiving more commendations for successful conduct of Anambra State Governorship election.
Speaking in Awka, the immediate past Vice President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Damian Okeke Ogene said the election was free, fair and credible, noting that all the candidates were given level playing ground and Ndi Anambra lived up to expectations as light of the nation and pacesetter in the country by demonstrating maturity and understanding in their conduct, urging other States to emulate them to reduce the cost of conducting elections in the country and accelerate growth of democracy.
Chief Okeke Ogene who said that the outcome of the election is a victory for Ndi Anambra, commended all the candidates and parties for maintaining peaceful electioneering campaign, encouragingly those who lost to uphold spirit of sportsmanship and contribute in building a better state.
He noted that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is well prepared for governance with vision and mission to take the state to enviable height.
