The Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Anambra State, Dr Queen Elizabeth Agwu has commended the impressive turn out of eligible voters in Dunukofia and Oyi Local Government Areas for the collection of Permanent Voter Cards.

Speaking to journalists after monitoring the exercise alongside some INEC National Commissioners in State Primary School Nteje, Oye Ukpo, and Nteje Primary School, Dr Agwu expressed satisfaction with the level of compliance by the electorate in the areas with regards to PVC collection.

She observed that the large number of people who came to the wards for collection of their PVC showed that Anambra electorate are ready to exercise their franchise during November eight Anambra State governorship election.
