An Industrialist, Dr Godwin Okafor has called on Ndi Anambra especially those in the private sector to key into the private public partnership initiative of the Soludo administration for rapid transformation of the State.
Speaking in an interview with the ABS Business correspondent, Abuchi Nwozor on the thirty four years of the creation of Anambra State, Dr Okafor who spoke extensively on the benefits of private public partnership in development, called on Ndi Anambra whose businesses are scattered in different parts of the country to bring part of their investments home to create jobs for the people in addition to contributing to the growth of the state economy.
Dr Okafor who is also a community leader in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area while paying tribute to the founding fathers of Anambra State who worked for it’s creation on August 27th, 1991, called on the people to always take pride in promoting and patronizing products made in Anambra State.
He urged the government to always encourage the growth of the industrial sector by providing functional electricity, tax reduction, and commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the provision of road infrastructure which he said has been encouraging the growth of industries in Anambra State.
