Idemili North Local Govt Council Commences Construction Of John Nwadiobi Road Enekwasumpu, Obosi

The Executive Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area, Chief Stanley Nkwoka, has flagged-off the construction of John Nwadiobi Road in Enekwasumpu, Obosi, promising its completion within ten weeks, and that it would be constructed with high-quality interlocking stones and fitted with functional street lights.

Speaking at the project site, Chief Nkwoka explained that upon assuming office, he pledged to deliver the road project to residents of the area, expressing gratitude to the Anambra State Government for supporting the initiative, which he described as a fulfillment of that promise.

Before the flag-off exercise, Chief Nkwoka paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of Obosi, Igwe Chidubem Iweka; the Third, where he briefed the Monarch on the council’s development plans and later received royal blessings.

In their separate remarks, the Contractor handling the project, Mr. Odira Eze, and the Project Manager, Mr. Chijioke Okeke, described the 0.563-kilometre road as a pilot project designed to transform the community, assuring of quality and timeliness in completing the project.
