The remains of late Sir Godson Nworah Ezekwo known as Owarauzo N’ikpa, of Umuezeunara Kindred, Umuojo, Amanasaa Umuchu in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, have been laid to rest.
Late Sir Godson, who died at the age of seventy-four, was survived by his wife and four children, two males and two females, who are all well trained in various professional fields and currently working with reputable companies in the United States of America.

In a sermon delivered at the funeral service held at the deceased’s compound, a guest preacher from the Anglican Church, Ogidi, Venerable Frank Obi, reminded Christians that death is inevitable and comes irrespective of one’s social or religious status, urging everyone to live holy lives and shun evil in order to inherit God’s kingdom after life on earth, while the wife of the deceased, Lady Ngozi Nwabasili-Ezekwo, alongside the children, including the first son, Engineer Ikemsinachi Ezekwo, and the first daughter, Mrs Chisom Okoye-Ezekwo, thanked God for the good life their late father lived, describing him as a peaceful, kind-hearted and God-fearing man who lived for others and prioritized his family over everything, and prayed for the eternal repose of his soul.

In their tributes, some relatives and friends of the Ezekwo family, including Mr Joseph Eze-Anwuna and Reverend Theodore Nwabasili, described late Sir Ezekwo as a selfless man who contributed immensely to the development of Umuchu and the well-being of people around him, and urged his family to uphold his legacies.
