Former Federal Lawmaker Ibezi Celebrates 50th Birthday With Thanksgiving Mass At Abatete

Saint Dominic Catholic Parish, Agbaja-Abatete, Idemili North Local Government Area, was filled to capacity as family members, friends, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate Honourable Ifeanyichukwu Ibezi, former member of the House of Representatives for Idemili North and South Federal Constituency on the occasion of his fiftieth birthday anniversary.

The special thanksgiving mass, which also marked the celebrant’s twenty-five years in active politics, attracted dignitaries from different walks of life, including Governor Chukwuma Soludo; the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, the Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Professor Kate Omenugha, traditional rulers, State government officials, priests from various denominations among others.

In a homily during the mass, the Chancellor of the Onitsha Archdiocese, Very Reverend Father Prudentius Aroh, thanked God for the gift of life granted to the celebrant and for enlarging his coast, emphasizing the importance of gratitude to God at all times.

In his remarks, Honourable Ibezi expressed gratitude to God and to all who came to celebrate with him, acknowledging that the journey has not been easy but noted that through God’s grace, he has attained this milestone and reaffirmed his commitment to integrity, honesty, and service to humanity.
