Education Stakeholders Forum: Soludo Asks Academics To Build Capacity For Multitask

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has called on academics to engage in community service, beyond teaching and research.

The Governor who was speaking in Awka at the Higher Education Stakeholders Forum, a Tertiary Education Stakeholders Summit for Soludo, tasked them on building the capacity for multitask and develop the society.

He further encouraged the academics to continue on the path of investing their brilliant ideas in developing Anambra, assuring of his administration’s commitment to building the education sector. 

The Keynote Speaker on the event, Barrister Osita Chidoka who spoke on “Education And Development In Nigeria, Why Anambra Must Stay The Course”, revealed that the world is about to change and Governor Soludo understands it, stating that success is not luck but focus and persistence, noting that Anambra has greatly excelled under Governor Soludo, even as the  Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Professor Kate Omenugha pointed out that the summit is an opportunity for soul searching, and stated that education and politics are interwoven, which is why the academics need to play their roles as leaders of thought in building for posterity.
