CVR: Stakeholder In Awka Nzekwe Asks Eligible Voters To Register

A major stakeholder in Awka Community, Chief Jonathan Nzekwe has enjoined eligible voters in the community who have not received their permanent voter card to use the opportunity of the ongoing voters registration exercise to get theirs in order to participate in the 2027 general elections and subsequent ones in the country.

Speaking during an interaction with newsman in Awka, Chief Nzekwe who described voters card as veritable instrument for enthroning credible leadership, urged those in Awka community who have attained the age of eighteen and above to visit any of the offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, across the State to register and obtain their permanent voter card to enable them exercise their franchise during elections

Chief Nzekwe who is a Frontline member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to put necessary machineries in place in their various offices to ensure seamless conduct of the exercise, to ensure that all eligible voters are captured.      

He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for restoring people’s confidence in governance through purposeful leadership especially in creating an enabling environment for business transactions, and called on Ndi Anambra to continue with their prayers and support to his administration.
