Community Secondary School, CSS, Ufuma has defeated Community Secondary School, CSS, Omogho with a lone goal in the finals of the C-Unit football competition for Orumba North Local Government Area held at Community Primary School, Saint Anthony Ufuma.
Following the Victory, CSS Ufuma lifted the trophy and went home with one million naira, while the second position, CSS Omogho, went home with six hundred thousand naira, among other consolation prizes given to students from all the schools that participated.
Speaking to the ABS after receiving cheques from the C-Unit brothers; Onyedika and Onyebuchi Ike, the CSS Ufuma Captain, Emmanuel Nwankwo, who described the game as tough, thanked the C-Unit for sponsoring sporting activities in the area; even before the latest tournament, while Sunday Arinze; from CSS Omogho said they will win the match if replayed.
