Christiana Anthony Agha Foundation (CAAF) has organized a one-day free medical outreach in Nise, Awka South Local Government Area.
The medical outreach which drew men and women, both young and old within and outside the community, was sponsored by Dr & Dr Mrs Elochukwu Agha, and powered by Munic Medical Practice Limited.
Speaking during the event held at Nise Civic Centre, the representative of Munic Medical Practice Limited, Mr Michael Okoronta, said that their major focus is on eyes test and treatment, free medical glasses, blood sugar check, vital signs check, malaria test, as well as free medication.
Mr Okoronta said that they brought the free medical services to the rural area to help the underprivileged to be diagnosed and treated at no cost, noting that rainy season comes with malaria, allergies and some other diseases.
He explained that they will distribute over two thousand medical glasses among other things, and advised people to take their heath seriously.
Two of the beneficiaries, Mr Patrick Udeh and Mrs Angela Okonkwo; who received drugs and glasses respectively, prayed God to continue to flourish their benefactor for him to continue to do more for the community and humanity at large.
