Centenary Celebration: ESOCS Take Evangelism To Streets Of Awka 

Streets of Awka and its environs came alive as members of the Eternal Order of Cherubim and Seraphim (ESOCS) took out a procession as part of their evangelism and missions to mark the church’s centenary celebration.

The Centenary celebration themed “Centenary Without Boarders”, gave indept analysis of how the church which they said was the first Pentecostal church in the country, came on board in 1925 through Moses Orimolade.

Speaking to ABS crew, the Chairman of ECSOS, Awka Province, Special Senior Apostle David Onuoha who is the coordinator of the Centenary celebration in Anambra State, said the lord has caused them to succeed, which prompted the celebration, calling on christians to go back to the root of christianity, and embrace one another with love which he noted  is the basis of Christianity.

On his part, the  Chairman of Christian Association Of Nigeria, Venerable Joseph Nweke, who came to felicitate with the members of Cherubim and Serafim, maintained  that the church has come to stay in Anambra State, stating that they are celebrating hundred years of evangelism work and spread of gospel, and asked Ndi Anambra to embrace God, make christianity their lifestyle so as to make heaven.
