Buhari Tasks New Ministers On Security, Fight Against Corruption

President Muhamadu Buhari has urged the newly inaugurated Ministers to
join him in the fight against internal security threats and eliminate
corruption in Nigeria.


This was contained in the President’s address at the swearing-in of
the secretary of the government of the federation and Ministers at the
state House, Abuja.


President Buhari maintained that the core objectives of his
Administration are to improve security, achieve diversified, inclusive
economic growth and fight corruption.


He called on them to get to work, as according to him, the work has
already started with the two days retreat which was conducted with
clear focus on the roadmap towards the delivery of Government
Policies, Programmes and Projects for 2019-2023.
He added that over the past four years, his administration has made
enormous progress in tackling difficult challenges faced by the
country by exiting the country from recession, restored economic
growth, curbed inflation and shored up the country’s external
reserves.
