As part of efforts geared towards returning Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim on November eight governorship election, the Chairman of Awka Ward Four for Soludo/Ibezim Campaign Council , Chief Igwedumma Nwofor and leadership of Awka Ward Four, held Pulling Unit Campaign Council for re-election meeting to brainstorm on how to safeguard their votes and ensure that their votes count.
Held in Awka, the event which also featured endorsement rally for Governor Soludo and his Deputy offered opportunity for members of the party to present their voter cards as they all raised their cards in the air, proofing their readiness to go to the polls come November eight.
Addressing members of the ward, the convener of the meeting, Chief Nwofor said that it was necessary in order to educate members of the ward about their polling units and to remind pulling units managers which had been inaugurated that it is their duty to win more people for the ward to ensure that they come out victorious in the election.
A former Transition Committee chairman for Awka South Local Goverment Area, Chief Leo Nwuba, commended members of Ward Four for their efforts and reminded them that APGA has never failed in their ward and would not fail at this time, while the chairman, APGA, Awka Ward Four, Mr Anthony Nwabueze recalled that Ndi Awka have never had it so good before, noting that Governor Soludo is the only Governor that has remembered Awka Capital city,
