Laying of asphalt on the four point one two seven kilometres Eziagu-Umunze by pass road, in Orumba South council area has been completed.
The road flagged off in October 2023, was awarded by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The Traditional Ruler of Eziagu, Igwe Bernard Emejue expressed appreciation to Governor Soludo for remembering them, as according to him, this is the first time they are having a constructed road in their community.
Speaking to the ABS, the Project Manager of the site, Engineer Festus Obeto said that they were happy to carry out the project to completion and explained that the asphalt is six millimetres thick while the drainage on both sides is seven fifty by seven fifty millimetres, even as he appreciated Anambra State government for believing in them.
