Arewa Community in Anambra have visited the state’s Light House Awka and pledged total support to the Governor Chukwuma Soludo-led administration.
The delegation including prominent leaders from each of the Anambra’s Senatorial zones, including Alhaji Garba Haruna from Awka, Anambra Central, Salisu Muhammed, the Traditional Arewa Leader from Nnewi, Anambra South, and Waziri from Onitsha, Anambra North, was received at the Light House by Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi onbehalf of the Governor.
During the meeting, the Arewa leaders expressed gratitude for the governor’s support and demonstrated their commitment by pledging their votes for him in the upcoming November eight Anambra governorship election, even as they presented some of their demands to Governor Soludo.
In response, Mr. Ezeajughi acknowledged their concerns and expressed appreciation with their support, and assured the leaders that their needs would be seriously considered.
