APGA Commences Nationwide Digital Membership Drive Led By Governor Soludo

Governor Chukwuma Soludo, the National Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has officially inaugurated the party’s membership registration and revalidation exercise, an initiative aimed at modernising the party’s database and solidifying its standing within the Nigerian political landscape.

During the launch, Governor Soludo commended the party’s leadership for its proactive management and commitment to progressive ideals, highlighting that APGA successfully transitioned to a digital registration platform in 2024, positioning it ahead of other domestic political organisations.

The Governor emphasised the importance of this digital shift, noting that it reinforces the party’s role as a leader in administrative innovation, reiterated APGA’s focus on championing development for the general public and urged both current and prospective members to participate in the revalidation process to ensure their status is up to date.

The National Chairman of APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, clarified that the exercise is a direct response to recent amendments to the Electoral Act, as the legal requirements mandate that all political parties in Nigeria maintain a digital register containing specific and verifiable information for every member.

The Governor’s wife, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, among others, also participated in the exercise, which is expected to provide a transparent and accessible framework for party administration as APGA prepares for future electoral cycles.

Interested persons are advised to proceed to their respective APGA wards nationwide with the following requirements for registration and revalidation: voter’s card, National Identification Number (NIN) and two passport photographs.
