As expected, it was an exciting, entertaining and inspiring celebration of faith through music as Saint Cecilia Angelic Choir, Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students, NFCS, Saint Joseph the Worker Chaplaincy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, held the fifth edition of her annual music concert tagged “Echoes 5.0” and themed “Rythms of the motherland”.
Correspondent, Joseph Egbeocha reports that the event chaired by a Choir master, Organist and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN, Chairman in Anambra, Engineer Victor Meju, had the presence of the Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr. Christopher Molokwu, represented by the Director of Commercial Service of the establishment, Mrs Uju Ifediba, among other dignitaries, and had solo, duet, trio and choir performances.

Describing the event as simply an embrace between heaven and earth, the Chairman of the occasion, Engineer Meju, a music Composer and Producer, Alex Ugwu, as well as a chorister in the Chaplaincy and one-time student of UNIZIK, Engr. Ifeanyi Obi, in their remarks, said that exposure to music elongates life, just as they remarked that the event was an avenue for talent discovery and hunting, urging the youths to use their talents for their own good, and in service to God and humanity.

On his part, Chaplain of the Chaplaincy, Reverend Father Remigus Ezeokonkwo, who noted that the event was an avenue for the youths to discover and improve on their talents in the worship of God and service to humanity, said with supports from various individuals and groups, the choristers can individually and in group attain greater heights, urging the youths to continue to discover their talents, and put them to good use.
