Anambra State Government has commenced a training programme for the two hundred newly recruited personnel of Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA) Brigade.
The exercise, which began on August 3rd and ends on August 31st at Isiagu in Awka South Local Government Area is aimed at boosting the state’s capacity to enforce the mandate of OCHA Brigade and to sustain a clean and healthy environment across communities in the state.

Speaking at the training camp, the Managing Director of the Brigade, Mr. Celestine Anere said the new recruits were carefully selected from the 21 local government areas of the state, including non-indigenes.

Also addressing the trainees, the Public Relations Officer of the agency, Mr. Anthony Agbaefuna, who lectured them on the laws and regulations of the OCHA Brigade, warned that the agency maintains a zero-tolerance policy for indiscipline.
