Individuals with Creative talents have been charged to form a formidable force that would provide needed services in the creative industry, to boost Anambra’s economy.
The state Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism, Comrade Don Onyenji, made the call during the first ever round table meeting convoked by the Anambra State Government to ensure that talents in the industry are harnessed to improve productivity, inline with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s commitment towards developing the sector to expand opportunities for creativity and innovations .

Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Soludo on Entertainment, Mr Bob-Manuel Udokwu, called for a state brand, instead of individual brands, regretting that conspiracy has remained the bane of development of the industry in Anambra state, and called for a synergy and unity of purpose among those in the creative industry..

In his speech, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ABS, Mr Chris Molokwu, who noted that before now, people saw artists as people who are serious, frowned at the manner in which they negatively project Anambra and blow issues out of proportion, which he said dwindles chances of people coming into the state for business and relaxation.
