Anambra State Executive Council, ANSEC, has reviewed and approved the progress report for the 2024 Business Enabling Reforms Action Plan, BERAP.
A statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, after the 14th ANSEC meeting held at the Light House Awka, explained that as part of the State Action on Business Enabling Reform, SABER, Programme, the state commits each year to implementing reforms aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business.
The statement noted that progress of these reforms is being continuously monitored to ensure sustainability and assess their impact on businesses in Anambra.
It added that the initiatives have resulted in improvements in land administration, infrastructure investment, business processes, investment promotion and protection, tax administration, and access to justice through small claims courts, among other areas.
