As part of efforts to sustain quality representation, the Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Chukwuma Okoye has empowered his constituents with tricycles and donated vehicles to Amawbia Agunaechemba security outfit in Awka South One and Two constituencies
Addressing his constituents during the event held in Amawbia, Right Honourable Okoye said the gesture is in consolidation of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s efforts in security and human capital development.
In their remarks, the President General of the community, Mr Chukwuka Odumodu; a Special Assistant to Governor Soludo on political mobilisation, Mrs. Felicia Okika and a former Chairman of Labour Party in the local government area, Mr. Onyekachukwu Meluba while appreciating the Anambra lawmaker for sustaining the empowerment and security in Awka North and South assured that they are solidly behind the re-election bid of Governor Soludo, even as they advised the beneficiaries to use the vehicles and tricycles judiciously.
Some of the beneficiaries, including Chukwuma Mmaduka, Chijioke Nwoye and the Chairman of Agunaechemba security outfit in Amawbia, Captain Francis Anyikwa assured that they will live up to expectations.
