Anambra Patriots Association (APS) has organized a thank-you event for its coordinators across all political wards in the state to appreciate their efforts in ensuring that Governor Chukwuma Soludo won the last governorship election, as well as to motivate them to remain focused.
Addressing the gathering, the Convener of the Anambra Patriots Association, Architect Okey Ezeobi, commended members and leaders of the association for sustaining the mandate of the group, which he said is aimed at enthroning good and accountable governance that meets the needs of the common man, and expressed optimism that the association would, in no distant time, become a formidable political force that politicians who desire positive change would reckon with.

Architect Ezeobi, while reaffirming the association’s loyalty to the All Progressives Grand Alliance, said the group is not driven by monetary interests or emotions, but by the desire for good governance and accountability, disclosing that the association would support President Bola Tinubu for a second term in the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking, the National Chairman of the Anambra Patriots Association, Chief Damian Enekwechi, and the Traditional Ruler of Umueri, Igwe Ben Emeka, who is also a member of the association, described the group as a foremost support group in Anambra State, urging members to remain loyal and focused, even as they called on Governor Soludo to further intensify his developmental efforts during his second tenure in appreciation of the support given to him by Ndi Anambra.

In their separate remarks, the Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Political Matters, Mr. Alex Obiegbolu, and a former Chief of Staff to the state government, Mr. Primus Odili, represented by a former Commissioner for Works, Engineer Marcel Ifejiofor, commended the association for its commitment to promoting good governance and accountability, noting that the group has distinguished itself among about sixty-five support groups in the state, and expressed hope that it would continue to grow stronger both within and beyond Anambra State.
Recall that the Anambra Patriots Association donated the sum of thirty million naira to support Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second-term bid.
