It was a resounding show of support by the Obosi community who declared their endorsement for Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim as they seek a second term of four years in office.
The announcement came during a gathering in the community, following the Governor’s three and half year antecedents, where he articulated his administration’s achievements and plans for the future.
The Governor earlier started the journey from the palace of the Traditional ruler of Obosi, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, after which he proceeded to the Obosi town hall to assess the ongoing repairs and improvements, following the recent unfortunate incident, just as he acknowledged the challenges, apologized to the victims, but reassured residents that a committee has been established to address the issues.
The Governor also spoke directly to the challenges faced by residents in Owelleaja Obosi, where flooding has disrupted daily life, assuring that work is ongoing there.
The Governor was presented with a cheque of fifty million naira by the community, in support of his campaign.
