Anambra State Ministry of Transport in collaboration with Solution Marshall across Anambra has endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second term bid.
Transporters including commercial bus drivers, heavy duty and tipper drivers, Tricycle and motorcycle operators, Barrow owners and pushers association, bus conductors, those from the Maritime and ports sector all converged on Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium for the historic event which attracted top government functionaries and stakeholders in the transport business.
Those who spoke during the event including the member representing Ekwusigo Constituency and Majority leader Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Ikenna Ofodeme noted that people on the streets are those who bear witness to good governance, saying that transport sector accommodates all manner of people and for them to come out in their numbers to endorse Governor Soludo speaks volume of his good work in the state while the Commissioner for Transport, Mrs.Patricia Igwebuike said the transport sector have the numbers and capacity to deliver the Governor in the coming November 8th election.
Others who spoke including Comrade Osita Obi who is the Chairman Media Committee, Deputy Marshal General, Anambra State, Mr Chiejina Obieze, Chairman Drivers Welfare, Upper Iweka, chief Chinedu Molokwu among others, appreciated the Governor’s developmental strides across the state, and pledged to vote massively for him.
