Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has declared that the overwhelming support and endorsements from the people of Anambra for his re-election bid have transformed the APGA Governorship campaign into a genuine movement driven by the desires and aspirations of the citizens themselves.
During a spirited rally held at Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium in Onitsha, Governor Soludo received a significant endorsement from market traders across the state, who presented him with a cheque of ten million naira.
Expressing his gratitude, the Governor who thanked the market community for their confidence in his leadership and their support for the “Agunaechemba” initiative and “Operation Udo Ga Achị,” which aims to enhance safety and security in the region, acknowledged that while some challenges persist, his administration is committed to addressing them daily.
On his part, the Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Markets, Chief Evarist Ubah highlighted the positive feedback from market stakeholders regarding the improved access roads to various markets, which have significantly boosted their businesses, just as the President General of Anambra State Amalgamated Traders Association, Chief Humphrey Anuna, pledged the association’s support for the Governor’s second-term campaign
