Anambra Guber: Ex -Anambra Governor Obi Asks Electorate Not To Mortgage Votes

As the November eight Anambra Governorship election nears, a former Governor of the sate and Labour Party, Presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Mr Peter Obi, has urged the electorates not to allow their votes to be bought with money meant for societal development, but instead vote for the party’s candidate, Dr George Moghalu, whom he tasked on providing quality leadership to the people.

Correspondent, Joseph Egbeocha reports that speaking at Egwegwe Square, Nimo in Njikoka Local Government Area during an Honourable George Ozodinobi- sponsored Labour Party rally in the community, which drew people from Njikoka, Anaocha, Dunukofia Federal Constituency and beyond, Obi bemoaned bad leadership, which he said has led to infrastructural dilapidation, hunger and insecurity, all affecting people’s mental health. 

Calling for issue-based campaign while speaking to the ABS, Honourable Ozodinobi, said that the Labour Party’s candidate Moghalu has character and the brightest chance to win the Anambra Governorship election. 

Also speaking, the leader of Obidient Movement, Tanko Yunusa, urged the two point eight million Anambra members to support the Labour Party’s candidate for the election, Mr. George Moghalu.
