The Labour Party has officially flagged off the gubernatorial campaign of Chief George Muoghalu at the All Saints Cathedral, Onitsha, ahead of the November eight Anambra governorship election.
The event, which drew a mammoth crowd of party faithful and grassroot supporters, was also attended by former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party Presidential Candidate in the 2023 general election, Chief Peter Obi.
Chief Obi urged Ndi Anambra to trust and support the duo of Chief George Muoghalu and his runing mate, Mrs. Ifeoma Okaro.
Speaking at the flag off ceremony, Chief Muoghalu expressed gratitude to the Labour Party leadership and Chief Obi for their trust and support, and pledged to lead Anambra State with the fear of God, uphold the dignity of every citizen and build a government that will meet the needs of Anambra State.
