The Commissioner for Basic Education, Professor Kate Omenugha has called on women to sustain their contributions towards nation building. Professor Omenugha was speaking during the August Meeting of Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of St Paul Catholic Church Nnobi held at Central Primary School Nnobi . Commissioner Omenugha charged women to always remember their position in nation building,as no nation survives without meaningful contribution from the women folk.
She also used the occasion to intimate them on state government resolve to ensure that no Anambra child is left behind in terms qualitative education, adding that already Anambra is winning various laurels in education based competitions nationally and internationally.
Commissioner Omenugha also advised the women to always support the Obiano led administration which has impacted possitively on NdiAnambra and pointed out the need for all to key into the Anambra Health Insurance Scheme and ensure they register their family members.
In her address during the occasion, the President St Paul’s Catholic Church Nnobi, Lady Ifeyinwa Ewuzie said the women August meeting is usually a period for the women to strategies and contribute thier resources and ideas towards building a formidable families and support church activities.
Also speaking Lady Gladys Mbonu one of the parishioners, said it is always a thing of joy to see women come together irrespective of status to discuss issues for the growth of the Church and families and expressed optimistism that their deliberations will enhance development of the society as women are nation builders.

Organization St Paul Catholic Church Nnobi, Lady Grace Uche said their annual August meeting has been very fruitful as the women mobilize and contribute money to promote Church activities.
Songs and Dancing by the women and cutting of women August meeting cake presented by Prof Kate Omenugha formed the high point of the event.
