As Anambra State marks her twenty-eight Year Anniversary today, some prominent individuals have continued to bare their minds on the journey so far.
Speaking to the ABS, the Executive Chairman, ALABA International Market, Lagos Evangelist Paulinus Ugochukwu while paying glowing tribute to the founding fathers of the state, charged Ndi Anambra to see the development of the state as a collective responsibility.
Evangelist Ugochukwu who hails from Oraifite in Ekwusigo Local Government Area, promised that the Leadership of ALABA International Market will continue to partner Anambra State government for sustainable development.
He commended Governor Willie Obiano for all his efforts to transform the State and called for it’s sustenance.
Contributing, an Industrialist, Chief Israel Ezue who described the community development initiative of the Obiano administration as second to none, maintained that the Twenty Million Naira choose your project scheme will no doubt fast track the development of rural areas across the state.
Chief Ezue who is also the Traditional Prime Minister of Awa in Orumba North Local Government Area, used the opportunity to call for the completion of the Ufuma- Awa- Ndiukwuenu -Okpeze -Amansea Road to save the people from untold hardship.
Another Industrialist, Dr Godwin Okafor while calling on Ndi Anambra to see the twenty-eight year anniversary of the State as one that calls for sober reflection commended Governor Obiano for rekindling the interest of investors through effective security network and called on other Governors to emulate him.
Dr Okafor who is a community Leader in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, urged Ndi Anambra to continue with their support and prayers to Governor Willie Obiano to enable him deliver on his mandate.
