Students and staff of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, will soon enjoy smoother access road within the institution as the Anambra State House of Assembly’s Committee on Works and Infrastructure has inspected the ongoing construction of inner roads in the college.
House of Assembly Correspondent Emmanuel Chigbata reports that during the inspection, the Committee Chairman, Engineer Emma Nwafor urged the contractors to hasten up with the work and deliver the projects within record time, stressing that the roads will not only ease movement on campus but also will enhance the overall learning environment.

Engineer Nwafor, who observed that earthwork had already been completed while stone base has also been laid in some areas, assured that the Assembly will sustain its oversight role to ensure the roads are completed to standard, in line with government’s vision of improving infrastructure across educational institutions in the state.
Responding, the contractor handling the project, Engineer Katchy Adonu assured that the roads will be completed within the specified timeframe and according to approved standards.
