Amaka Onwuzuluike Of ABS Inducted Into Adulthood In Nsugbe Community

Lady Amaka Onwuzuluike, a staff of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Awka, has been formally inducted into adulthood, locally known as “Iye Isi” in her hometown, Nsugbe, in Anambra East Local Government Area.

Correspondent, Emmanuel Chigbata reports that Lady Onwuzuluike’s induction into adulthood with new traditional titles, “Iyom Ukwuoma” and “Ada Nwele Ugwu na Nsugbe”, symbolizes maturity to shoulder greater responsibilities both in the family and at the community level.

Speaking after her induction attended by relatives, friends, community leaders and women groups, Lady Onwuzuluike expressed joy and gratitude for the honor, as according to her, the “Iye Isi” is not just a personal milestone, but also a cultural responsibility that binds her to uphold the values and traditions of Nsugbe community. 

The Patron of Ukwuoma Age Grade, Mr Chukwudi Odikpo, a community Chieftain, Engr Jude Muofunaya, and the Director News and Current Affairs of ABS, Mrs Judy Jeff Nwabueze, advised the celebrant to always live up to the expectations of her new status by promoting peace, unity and cultural preservation in Nsugbe.
