Ajalli Community Showcases Cultural Heritage As Traditional Ruler Eze Nwangwu Celebrates Second Coronation Anniversary, Otute Festival

The culture and tradition of a people remain their identity and for the people of Ajalli Community in Orumba North Council Area, the second coronation anniversary of their traditional ruler, Eze Augustine Nwangwu, provided an opportunity to showcase their rich heritage to the admiration of visitors, friends and neighbouring communities.

The coronation anniversary was significant as it heralded the Otute festival of the community and the double celebration attracted illustrious sons and daughters of the community both at home and in the diaspora, top government officials, and members of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council led by their Chairman, Igwe Chidubem Iweka of Obosi.

Addressing the gathering, Eze Nwangwu known by his people as “Eze Ohazurume”, said he sees himself as the servant of his people and promised to continue to champion peace, togetherness, and development of the community as he has done in the past two years, even as he asked members of the community to support the second term of Governor Chukwuma Soludo by voting massively for APGA on November 8.

In their various felicitations, the Mayor of Orumba North Council Area, Barrister Casmir Nwafor and the Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Iweka prayed that God will give Eze Nwangwu a peaceful reign on the throne.
